an accidental day off.

today has been a very lazy day around here. i have done pretty much next to nothing.

i tried to learn to make some of those finger knit garland things...without success.
i get frustrated easily with things like that.
and i just couldn't understand part of it. 
so i threw in the towel. 

my little brother, paul, is sick with the swine flu.
my mom had to take him to the doctor, so i offered to be late to work and watch the other kids.
i ended up not even going to work. (not that i'm really complaining.)
work said not to worry about coming in.
so, fine by me!

i gave chloe and i matching feather tattoos.
mine will soon be a reality...about a week from now. i'm really excited!
(a little nervous, too. but shhhh...)

i found this really neat, old atlas. it's my dad's, but he's not really using it or anything.
i'm going to ask him if i can have it. (cross your fingers for me!)
i really hope he says yes, because i have some fun ideas for it.

my bedroom is a completely disorganized, cluttered wreck.
i have no idea how to tackle the mess that lay before me.
any suggestions?
